Mark E. Bardwil, Esq.

Mark Bardwil is an attorney practicing law in many Western Washington counties with offices in Tacoma and Shelton.  Mark spent seven years with the law firm of Hanemann Bateman Jones & Bardwil in Olympia, Washington, where he was a partner for four of those years; and two and a half years as a partner with the law firm of Dolack Hansler Loran Ritchie & Bardwil, P.S..  Mark has now focused his practice of law  primarily on representing the interests of small businesses, corporations, and associations by handling their formation, maintenance, and litigation needs.  He also handles an array of different types of cases ranging from general civil litigation, real estate, probate and estate planning, to criminal law. Mark served on the board of directors of the Thurston County Young Lawyers during the late 1990s.  He served as corporate counsel for the Thurston County Drug Court Support Foundation, as well as being a board member.  In addition, Mark has President of the North Slope Historic District for three terms, and has sat on the board since 2006. 

Mark moved to Washington from Texas in 1994, where he had earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Texas Tech University in 1990. While at Texas Tech, Mark played varsity football, ran track for the Red Raiders, and was part of a professionally sponsored local "Rock and Roll" band called "The Bogarts".

Mark received his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1993. During law school, Mark attended the St. Mary’s Institute on World Legal Problems in Innsbruck, Austria, where he studied under a well recognized faculty including a six week course taught by U.S. Chief Justice William Rehnquist. Mark is licensed to practice law both in Texas and in Washington as well as in Federal court.

Mark has lived in Tacoma since 1997 with his wife, Kimberly, of Corpus Christi, Texas, and his daughter, Sophia.
